Eriksen: Spurs Not Afraid of Real Madrid

Tottenham Hotspur will face Real Madrid on Matchday third Group H Champions League 2017/18. This game was held at the Santiago Bernabeu, Tuesday (17/10/2017) night or Wednesday (18/10/2017) early morning hrs.

In two previous matches, both Spurs and Real Madrid both won. Spurs won 3-1 over Borussia Dortmund and beat APOEL with a score of 3-0.

While Real Madrid, after beating APOEL 3-0, Zinedine Zidane’s troops defeated host Dortmund with a score of 3-1. Both teams are currently collecting 6 points.

Facing Champion League champions in two tearkhir seasons, Spurs midfielder Christian Eriksen believes his side need not be afraid. He believes his side have good capital to face the Spanish giants club.

“You need quality and trust, but I think we have both so I do not think we should be afraid of anything,” Eriksen told reporters as reported by Footbal Espana.

“I have not won there, so I need to change something, of course this is a special stadium, a special place.”

Eriksen admits facing Real Madrid is a dream every footballer. “Playing against Real will always be special for any footballer, with the history they have and the players there so it will be a good test, to see how far we really come,” he added.
